The Emerge program is designed to give those new to a leadership position an introduction to the leadership skills necessary to support and impact teams and co-workers.
As part of an Emerge cohort, participants will experience intentional, leadership skill building based on the servant leadership model. The Emerge program leverages the expertise of various community leaders who facilitate interactive learning sessions over a five-week period.
Week 1 Emerging Self: personal leadership style, mission statement, servant leadership
Week 2 Emerging Professional: social media presence, professional profile, presentation skills
Week 3 Emerging Team: generational differences, communication and challenging conversations
Week 4 Emerging Perspectives: diversity, equity and inclusion, ethical decision making
Week 5 Emerging Service: community connection, leadership and service
Information and Tuition
By the end of this program, participants will gain a better understanding of themselves and their leadership skills. Leaders will be ready to continue their leadership journey leveraging their strengths and growing in areas of opportunity.
The Emerge program includes five half-day sessions (1:00-4:00PM) over a five-week period.
